Small robed figure seated alone at Lonny’s, 7th & Tarkin St, 1981
Lonny’s formed part of the famed Tarkin Street bar district, frequented by shift workers, off-world travelers, and Imperial bureaucrats on temporary assignment.
Shown here is a solitary patron seated apart from the evening crowd. Witness accounts describe extended periods of stillness interrupted only by brief words with the bartender, expressed in a unique syntax.
He left a generous tip. But no record survives of the subject’s departure.
